Armand Joubert – New Single Unfold Released

A new era is dawning as South African vocal powerhouse, Armand Joubert announces his first R&B EP, “Left with a Broken Heart”.
The EP delves deep into AJ’s personal struggles and heartbreaks and is set to be music gold!

Although most of his new project is pure R&B with sounds inspired by some of his favourite artists from the 90’s, like; Babyface, Toni Braxton, Michael Jackson, Brandy and Mariah Carey, AJ announced that the main single from “Left with a Broken Heart” titled “Unfold”, has more of a disco sound filled with underlining pop and R&B elements.

The song is produced by award winning Singer/Songwriter and Producer “Sloani” from David Gresham Records.

Unfold is about the frustration one faces when you’re in a relationship and someone is not honest with you, whether it’s friendship or romantically. When asked what inspired him to write the song, AJ said, “For so long I’ve tried to stick around and figure out what it is about certain people that put me off and why I couldn’t trust them. I paid the consequences for that emotionally. Always follow what your heart is telling you

because the devil disguises himself in light sometimes and we end up getting hurt by people we didn’t expect it from, but somehow we knew it was going to happen be cause you felt it in your gut. Trust your gut!”

AJ is no stranger in the South African music scene. He is mostly known for his 5octave vocal range, his energetic live performances and his impeccable style,charisma and swagger. With 5 number
